Local Councils Elections 2012 – Debate
On 10th March 2012 half the electorate will be voting for the elections of Local Councils. The Broadcasting Authority has launched the Scheme of Political Broadcasts for these elections which can be downloaded from http://www.ba-malta.org/political-broadcast .
The first such broadcasts will be a Debate broadcast next Monday, 20th February 2012.
The subject is chosen by Alternattiva Demokratika [AD] and will be Kunsilli Verament tar-Residenti. The participants for this debate will be Mr Ralph Cassar for AD; Dr Toni Abela and Ms Alison Zerafa for Partit Laburista [PL]; and Dr Shirley Farrugia and Mr Matthew Paris for Partit Nazzjonalista [PN].
The debate will be chaired by Ms Ruth Amaira and the broadcast will be made simultaneously on TVM and Radju Malta after the evening main news bulletin of 8:00pm.
