Circular to all Users of the Għargħur Tower
Għargħur Tower switch off – Friday 5th June 2020
The Broadcasting Authority needs to switch off the Gharghur Tower for emergency repairs on Friday 5th June between 14:00 and 17:00. All Analogue Radio users are requested to switch off their transmission equipment temporarily during the time of the repairs.
Further to what has been communicated in connection with the Covid-19 situation, personnel visiting the site are being requested to wear face masks and gloves and take all the precautionary measures in this regard.
The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and would like to inform you that if works are completed prior to 1700, the Antenna Tower will be switched back on earlier.
