Ċirkulari lill-istazzjonijiet tat-Televiżjoni u r-Radju
Xogħol Urġenti fuq it-Torri tal-Għargħur
Minħabba ċirkustanzi li ma kellhiex kontroll fuqhom, l-Awtorità tixtieq tavża li nhar it-Tnejn 30 ta’ Diċembru 2024, ser ikun qed isir xogħol fuq it-Torri tal-Għargħur, jekk it-temp jippermetti. Minħabba li se tintefa’ l-master antenna biex isir dan ix-xogħol, l-Awtorità se tkun qed taqleb it-trażmissjonijiet fuq l-antenna ta’ riserva b’qawwa ta’ trażmissjoni ridotta. U dan biex titħares is-saħħa u s-sigurtà tal-ħaddiema tagħha.
Ix-xogħol mistenni jibda fit-08:00 u jdum madwar 4 sigħat. Nixtiequ navżawkom li l-aħjar ikun hemm preżenti l-persuni tekniċi tagħkom fis-sit tal-Għargħur fis-07:30, sabiex isiru l-arranġamenti meħtieġa qabel ma jibda dan ix-xogħol.
Filwaqt li nirringrazzjawkom tal-kooperazzjoni tagħkom, nitolbukom sabiex tgħarrfu lill-produtturi u lill-preżentaturi tagħkom biex ikunu avżati b’dan u hekk jinfurmaw lis-semmiegħa tagħhom ukoll.
L-Awtorità tifhem li dan joħloq inkonvenjent aktar u aktar f’dan iż-żmien ta’ festi imma l-Awtorità tagħti prijorità lis-sigurta tal-post.

Circular to radio stations
Urgent Works on the Għargħur Transmitting Tower
Due to unforeseen circumstances, please be informed that on Monday 30th December 2024, work needs to be carried out at the Għargħur Transmitting Tower, weather permitting. Since during this work, the master antenna will be switched off, the Authority will be switching all the transmissions onto the backup antenna at a reduced transmission power. This is to safeguard the health and safety of our personnel.
Work is expected to start at 08:00 and lasts around 4 hours. We kindly ask you to have your technical personnel on standby at Għargħur at 07:30 so that the necessary changes can be applied before the work can kick off.
While thanking you for your cooperation, please inform your producers and presenters who will be notifying their listeners accordingly.
The Authority understands that such work cause inconvenience to your transmission more so during the festive season, however, the Authority gives priority to the safety of the transmission site.
