E.U. Parliament Elections 2009 – Broadcasts by Independent Candidates

For the European Parliament Elections that are going to be held on 6th June, 2009, the Broadcasting
Authority has allocated the services of the television public service provider for political parties with one
candidate and for independent candidates who are going to contest these elections.

Each political party/independent candidate was allotted separate transmission which will be broadcast on
TVM after the 8:00 p.m. news bulletin as per the date in the following table:

Is-Sibt 23 ta’ Mejju 2009

Is-Sur Nazzareno Bonnici - Partit tal-Ajkla
Is-Sur Cecil Herbert Jones - Kul Ewropa

Il-Ħadd 24 ta’ Mejju 2009

Dr. Emmy Bezzina - Partit Alpha Liberali Demokratiku
Is-Sur Norman Lowell - Imperium Europa
Ms Mary Gauci -Libertas Malta

For these transmissions an interview with the independent candidates will be broadcast where each
candidate will promote their candidature for these elections.

In the meantime, the transmission of the candidate for Alleanza Liberali, Mr John Zammit, will be
broadcast on TVM on Wednesday, 27th May 2009, after the 8:00 p.m. news bulletin.

For these elections, 34 candidates will be contesting five seats at the European Parliament.
